Terms of Use
The terms that apply to this website. The services themselves are contracted separately — see section 4.
1. Who operates this site
This website is operated by IT Simple Solutions Ltd trading as Tenderboss, a company registered in England & Wales under company number 08934237, with its registered office at Studio 9, 50-54 St Paul's Square, Birmingham, B3 1QS, United Kingdom.
- Email: info@tenderboss.co.uk
- Telephone: 0345 216 0008(calls charged at your provider's standard rate for 03 numbers; they count towards inclusive minutes)
2. Using this site means accepting these terms
By using tenderboss.co.uk you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these terms; the version on this page at the time you use the site is the one that applies, and the "last updated" date tells you when it last changed.
3. What this site is — and is not
The site describes our IT, hardware and software services for law firms. Descriptions, capability statements and indicative timescales are provided in good faith for general information.
- Nothing here is an offer capable of acceptance. Prices are not published on this site; a binding commitment only arises when we both sign a written proposal or order.
- Nothing here is professional advice.Content about the SRA Standards and Regulations, the UK GDPR, Cyber Essentials or any other framework is general commentary, not legal, regulatory, compliance or security advice, and must not be relied on as a substitute for advice on your firm's own circumstances. Your firm remains responsible for its own regulatory obligations.
- Submitting the demo form does not create a contract or a client relationship, and does not oblige us to provide services. What we do with the details you send is set out in our Privacy Policy.
4. Services are governed by a separate agreement
Managed IT, support, hardware supply, hosting, licences, bespoke development and any other services we deliver are governed by the written agreement we enter into for them — including the specification, charges, service levels, security commitments, intellectual property terms and, where we handle personal data on your behalf, a data processing agreement under Article 28 UK GDPR. Those terms take precedence over anything on this website. Nothing on this site varies a signed agreement.
5. Intellectual property
All content on this site — text, layout, graphics, code and the Tenderboss name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and related rights. You may view it, and print or download extracts for your own internal, non-commercial use, provided you do not alter them and keep any notices intact. You may not republish, sell, sub-licence or systematically extract our content, or use it to train a machine-learning model, without our written permission.
6. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the site unlawfully, fraudulently or to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages;
- submit false details through our forms, or submit anyone else's personal data without their knowledge;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers or any connected system, or carry out penetration testing, vulnerability scanning or load testing without our prior written consent;
- introduce malware, or interfere with the site's availability, including by denial-of-service attack;
- scrape, harvest or bulk-download the site, or circumvent our rate limits and anti-spam measures.
We monitor for abuse and may block access, and report conduct to the relevant authorities, where these rules are broken. If you believe you have found a security vulnerability in this site, please tell us at info@tenderboss.co.uk before disclosing it publicly, and we will work with you.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend, withdraw or change any part of it, or the whole of it, without notice. This clause does not affect the service levels in any signed services agreement.
8. Links to other sites
Where we link to a third-party site — a regulator, a vendor, a standards body — we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for it. You follow such links at your own risk.
9. Our liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
Subject to that, and because this site is provided free of charge and for information:
- the site is provided "as is"; we exclude all implied warranties, conditions and terms relating to it to the fullest extent permitted by law;
- we do not warrant that the site or its content is accurate, complete, current or free of errors or viruses;
- we are not liable for any loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, anticipated savings, data, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, this site or your reliance on its content;
- our total liability arising out of or in connection with your use of this site is limited to £100.
These limits apply to business users. Our liability under any services agreement is governed by that agreement, not by this clause. You are responsible for your own antivirus and IT protection.
10. Complaints
If something has gone wrong — with this site, an enquiry we have handled, or a service we provide — tell us and we will look into it properly.
- Email info@tenderboss.co.ukwith "Complaint" in the subject line, or write to us at Studio 9, 50-54 St Paul's Square, Birmingham, B3 1QS, United Kingdom. Please include what happened, when, and what you would like us to do.
- We acknowledge complaints within 3 working days.
- We aim to give you a substantive response within 20 working days. If we need longer we will tell you why and when to expect an answer.
- If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you can ask for it to be reviewed by a company director.
Complaints about how we have handled personal data can also go to the Information Commissioner's Office — see our Privacy Policy.
11. Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
12. General
If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. Our failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it. No third party has any right to enforce these terms under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
